The QGIS Community Team keeps contact to the community, takes care of documentation and GUI translation processes, and ensures smooth running of the QGIS.org online experience including web sites, blog, mailing lists, forums etc.. Otto lives in Hannover, Germany and contributes to the QGIS project since 2005. His background is Geography (MA Degree) with focus on applied remote sensing and GIS. Otto currently serves on the QGIS Project Steering Committee.

Tara lives in Redwood Valley, California, USA and has been contributing to the QGIS project since 2007. Her background is Applied Mathematics (PhD) and Geography (currently enrolled in the Distance Learning Master's program in GIS at the University of Leeds.) Interests are in modeling and software development for ecography and natural resources.

Sascha lives in Roth (Germany), just several meters behind the German/Luxembourgish borderline. His backgrounds are Forestry and Sustainable Energy Management. He's working in an engineering company in Luxembourg.
