Plugin Repositories
This page tries to summarize the repositories of Python plugins for QGIS that have been created. This helps to keep track of plugins effort and helps users to add easily new sources of plugins.

Official repository (only QGIS 1.x)

The repository contains plugins that have been tested and approved by the QGIS development team.
Warning: All plugins in other repositories are third-party software and not controlled nor checked by QGIS developers. Use them at your own risk.
User-Contributed repository (only QGIS 1.x)

This repository consists of plugins by various contributors. It is similar to the QGIS 0.x main repository, allowing anyone to create a user account and upload plugins.
QGIS 0.9 - 0.11 main repository
This repository consists of plugins by various contributors. It allows anyone to register and upload plugins, it's also the default repository in plugin installer.
Carson Farmer's repository

Repository with a number of useful plugins done by Carson Farmer, including fTools and manageR.
