Plugin Repositories
This page tries to summarize the repositories of Python plugins for QGIS that have been created. This helps to keep track of plugins effort and helps users to add easily new sources of plugins.
If you know more plugin repositories, feel free to add them!

"Official" repository
QGIS 0.9 - 0.11
This repository consists of plugins by various contributors. It allows anyone to register and upload plugins, it's also the default repository in plugin installer.
QGIS 1.x
At QGIS 1.0 there will be an Official and a User-Contributed repository. The Official repository will contain plugins that have been tested and approved by the QGIS development team. The User-Contributed repository will be similar to the current repository, allowing anyone to create a user account and upload plugins.
